Technical & Industrial Skills Training

All are invited to register for the Technical & Industrial Skills Training Program, offered by the MAI Institute in collaboration with PDMAcademy, and hosted by Masjid us Salaam, La Sophie Trace, Claxton Bay.

In this course, you will cover 2 core modules that help you access jobs and improve your marketability in the heavy industry and manufacturing sector.

Module 1: Basic Domestic & Industrial Wiring

Combine theory & practice in electrical safety, circuit design and wiring techniques, in accordance with the national Wiring Code. Learn effective tool usage, material selection and circuit construction for lights, plugs and air conditioning units.

Module 2: Basic Industrial Health & Safety Training

Learn about hazard identification, risk assessment, safety regulations, and emergency response in the industrial workplace. This course includes personal protective equipment (PPE), safe work practices, materials handling and storage, industrial hygiene, fall protection and more.

This course is IN-PERSON only, at Masjid us Salaam, La Sophie Trace, Claxton Bay.
